Around the year 2000, there was a "Coral Calcium Craze" that lasted for several years. Coral was the hottest item flying off shelves, and we had a large percentage of customers reporting increases in bone mineral density from one scan to the next. In other words, it worked, and sometimes the results were dramatic! Yet we got tired of always recommending extra magnesium to balance-out the calcium. So we formulated our Coral Calcium with Magnesium and Vitamin D into the Optimum Health Vitamins product line, and saw great results for years. Then, like it does with so many nutritional supplement crazes, the pendulum swung the other way and calcium fell into disfavour. So, in Coral Calcium Complete we used a product called Nu-RICE™ , which consists of rice-bran hulls.

As we discuss in this past article, the observed results from Coral Calcium improving bone density could be because of the wide spectrum of 73 trace minerals, or the alkaline nature of the Coral, or more likely a combination of both...READ MORE
